UB Poker Call off 2010 Aruba Poker Classic

UB.com, originally known as Ultimate Bet has announced their plans to call off the 2010 Aruba Poker Classic. With this, the site will expand its presence at existing major tournament and create a new tournament series to tribute the UBOC online series.

Paul Leggett, owner/operator of UB.com and Chief Operating Officer of Tokwiro states, “It is with great regret that we are announcing that the Aruba event will not run this year, but 2010 is going to be an exciting year for UB and its players. Over the last year, we’ve been redefining the UB brand in every possible way. We love the Aruba Poker Classic event except we think we can do a lot better for our players by investing in innovative events and rewards.” UB officials have not uttered whether or not the Aruba Poker Classic will come back in 2011.

With the cancellation of the said event, UB Poker is set to develop monthly tournaments and creating more pro-related competitions in the future.
