The Fate of Full Tilt’s Ivey at Event 37: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E.

Day 2 in the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event came a ton of big named players coming back for action, but many would hit the rail far sooner than they imagined. Among the early fallen on Sunday were Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Daniel Negreanu, and Steve Zolotow.

The luck of Phil Ivey has the poker world fretting just a little bit more, however, as he’s assumed to have millions of dollars riding on bracelet bets during the 2010 World Series of Poker. For those who have put money up not in favor of Ivey, we wish you the best of luck – Ivey is close to the top of the leaderboard after Day 2.

A quiet Phil Ivey had his eyes stuck to the screen, and he let out a nice giggle after golfer Dustin Johnson’s shot montage hit the television. The story at Ivey’s table quickly turned south, however, after Scott Seiver apparently told Steve Sung, “nice hand” after Seiver had won the pot. Ivey, sitting next to Sung and clearly distress by Seiver’s comments, shook his head in disgruntled fashion.

Mike Matusow of Kissing the Table Goodbye

Mike Matusow take a scene on the GSN cash game franchise “High Stakes Poker” as he played hard on the entire season, he fold K-Q which fits in the small blind after pre-flop raised and soon stand over on the table.

Before taking $400,000 from PokerStars player Daniel Negreanu last week was Mastusow who folded over the first episode in the “High Stakes Poker”. After the excellent moves during the event, rumored that was bumped by a bus in London, Matusow folded K-Q suited in the small blind to a $3,000 pre-flop raise from Grospellier. Invested $400 Mastusow left the “High Stakes Poker” host Gabe Kaplan in complaint. “Now in Texas, you can go to jail for that.”

Mastusow, rushing take up his bag and leave the “High Stakes Poker” set at the Golden Nugget in Downtown Las Vegas, instead of showing up to the authorities. this thing would be a worst thing to experience for Mastusow as a part of the poker circle.

The final table was finished by Negreanu together with Brunson and Benyamine, wherein Brunson take 16 straight winnings in the televised cash games. The next season finale of “High Stakes Poker,” will feature Lex Veldhuis. It will be aired on Sunday at 8:00 ET on the GSN.
